INDICATION BEHAVIOUR
When the indicator turns red ...
An activated ShockWatch® clip on your product signals that the product has been exposed to an extreme impact. From onsite production to long-term monitoring during the whole production chain - by attaching it directly inside or onto the product, a permanent control of the respective device is possible. Any damage caused by production errors or incorrect handling can thus be identified and analysed.
Note
Under certain circumstances, it is possible that damage has occurred without the indicator having been activated. Likewise, it is possible that an indicator has turned red without any damage having occurred to the packaged goods.

If the indication of horizontal shocks is of particular importance, the use of a ShockWatch® Double Clip or ShockWatch® MiniClip Double is recommended.
The 2 tubes shown in the illustration are positioned 180° opposite each other according to their function. This allows for an optimal triggering & display behaviour.
Background: In general, all ShockWatch® labels and ShockWatch® clips react 360°-axially to impacts. With horizontal impacts from the left or right side, there may be a slight tolerance with regard to the triggering accuracy.
Double clips offer more precision with this when it is required.
CORRECT PLACEMENT
ShockWatch® clips are always attached directly to the product inside the packaging.
Find a place that is as stable and flat as possible for attaching the clip.
