Single use Shock Indicator
Protect-A-Pak is a single use shock controller with self-adhesive backing which can be fixed to the product or inside of the external packaging with a mounting flange.
Protect-A-Pak consists of a cylindrical plastic case with two springs each loaded between two steel balls. The springs are designed to resist force effects up to the respective G-value. If the acceleration is higher, at least one spring jumps out and falls into the plastic case. Because the springs are arranged at an angle of 90°, all shock directions can be handled.
A label outside of the packaging notifies the carrier of the shock control.
