SiliPac®: The all-rounder
Silica gel sachets are the best-known desiccant solutions in the market. The SiliPac® line is produced with high-quality and high-performance silica gel. Since it is the only desiccant approved by the US FDA, silica gel is especially recommended for use in pharmaceutical, vitamin, and food products. However, SiliPac® sachets can be used on many packaging and transportation conditions: auto parts, agricultural products, furniture, glass products, metallic parts and pieces, leather articles, electro-electronics, chemical products, among others.
Under room temperature (18°C to 35°C) and high relative humidity rates (60% to 100% RH), SiliPac® sachets can adsorb around 35% of their weight in moisture and, in conjunction with a water vapor barrier, are capable to reduce relative humidity of an enclosed environment to below 40%. SiliPac® sachets are non-toxic and environmentally safe, and can be discharged as ordinary waste.
