Very versatile in application and usage
This customer-friendly desiccant cartridge with flat ends is permeable to water vapour. The cover made of cellulose acetate is resistant and absolutely tight. dricap® is filled with a wide selection of desiccant substances. While it is non-dusting and labelled with non-toxic paint, it ensures dryness during transport at low cost. dricap® is available in different sizes. Its compact cartridge shape differs uniquely from pharmaceutical pills and capsules. The flat seal ensures automatic insertion equipment in an easy way.
Highly activated desiccant filling
With its high absorption capacity and quick drying process, dricap® has a highly activated, unique desiccant filling. The generally intended desiccant is activated silica gel (SiO2) with a typical residue humidity of less than 2 weight-%. Other adsorption media such as molecular sieves and montmorillonite clay are available.
Exemplary performance
One single dricap® cartridge (P/N 02-00028AG01) sealed in a volume of ca. 165 cm^3; at a temperature of 25° C and a relative humidity of 70% reduces this atmosphere to less than 30% within 12 hours.
