DesseCap® - Desiccant Conisters
DesseCap® desiccant canisters are the ideal solution pharmaceutical and vitamin product packages. They provide efficient moisture adsorption within the packaging to assure product shelf life and integrity. The cylindrical shape of DesseCap® canisters allows the desiccant to be easily placed in vials and bottles, allowing the optimization of pharmaceutical production lines, especially if the goal is full automation. The characteristic format of DesseCap® canisters and the highlighted safety information allow the consumer to easily differentiate the canister from medication or vitamins, thus preventing its confusion, incorrect use or accidental ingestion.
DesseCap® canisters are available in 2 types: Sieve Edge and Paper Top. Both present various options of weight and desiccant type, including silica gel, molecular sieve, active carbon and mix of silica gel and active carbon. All Materials used in the manufacture of DesseCap® canisters comply with the US FDA (Food and Drug Administration) rule CFR21 for contact with food and medication.
