VCI-film has been developed in order to protect your high-quality multi-metal parts, accessories and components from corrosion. This VCI-film is very suitable for packaging and protecting a series of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
This product is manufactured with a branded, versatile corrosion inhibitor and mixed with polyethylene with low density (LDPE) in a extrusion process during film production.

Handling
- Packaging personnel always has to wear gloves when handling metal
- Parts have to be clean and free of fingerprints before packaging
- Cleaned and dry products should be conserved with VCI immediately
- The distance between the VCI-packaging and the metal should not be greater than 30 cm, depending on the individual case. For larger packaging units, other VCI-products can be used in addition.
- The protection time is influenced by the additional packaging material and the climatic conditions during transport and storage.
- VCI-packaging forgives quick opening for control purposes. The protective atmosphere recovers from the agent depot.
- VCI-protected products can be used directly from the packaging. The VCI-protective film volatilises within a short period of time without residue.
- The development of the protective atmosphere complies with the environmental temperature, and will be reached after 24 hours at the latest.
